Associate QA Engineer

The Team

You Have

  • 6+ months of experience in testing for consistent UI, functionality, content and user experience 
  • Ability to collect data, define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to follow instructions, responds to management direction
  • Possess people skills to work with engineers, designers, project managers and account managers
  • Understanding of web development technologies
  • Ability to develop basic test documentation such a bug report, test cases, test plans
  • Understanding on software development life cycle
  • Enjoy working in teams but able to work independently
  • Self motivated
  • Ability to communicate problems clearly and positively
  • Ability to apply feedback to improve performance
  • Ability to monitor own work and ensure quality

You May Also Have

  • B.S./M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience a plus
  • Background in business, informatics, mathematics, engineering, design
  • Knowledge of Agile practices
  • Experience working with tools/platforms: Endtest, TestRail, JIRA/Confluence, Demandware (Salesforce Commerce Cloud)
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML/JavaScript/CSS), scripting skills, experience in creating and implementing automation test scripts
  • Experience in digital commerce


What You’ll Do

  • Benefit Fluid Inc. with priority on manual testing
  • Joining scrums
  • Reproduce and document all defects found
  • Verify and close all fixed functional and visual defects
  • Create test cases, execute them and report results
  • Work closely with engineers in demonstrating defects found and troubleshooting issues
  • Understand the requirements and assist in creating test cases based on documented and non-documented requirements
  • Assist in developing and executing test plans and test cases
  • Assist the support and product teams in replicating customer/clients issues and reporting defects
