The Job

We are looking for a passionate and highly collaborative Senior Project Manager to join our growing team in New York. You will be responsible for leading eCommerce projects for top tier US and global brands, as well managing cross functional and cross organizational teams to define, design, build and launch complex eCommerce websites.

You have a proven track record in delivering innovative digital projects on time and on budget. You are an organized, efficient and professional individual.  You possess the charisma to lead a team with an acute attention to detail and the dedication to see a project through from start to finish. Demandware experience strongly preferred.  

Responsibilities 

  • Lead cross functional and cross organizational teams to define, design and build complex eCommerce websites.
  • Collaborate with creative and engineering teams to document functional and technical requirements.
  • Conduct project scoping and cost estimation.
  • Develop proposals and statements of work.
  • Develop detailed project and resource plans.
  • Manage and monitor timelines, deliverables and risks to deliver projects on time and within scope.
  • Manage and monitor project budgets. Work with the finance team to report revenue forecasts and manage invoicing.
  • Act as main point of contact and manage internal team, client and third party vendor communications and expectations.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
  • Track and report project progress and status to senior management.
  • Partner with Fluid Account team to develop and execute account plans to achieve client's business goals and to close new revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct daily status meetings with the engineering team to assign build tasks, review progress and identify blocks and risks.
  • Complete post launch evaluations against project success criteria and document lessons learned.

​Qualifications 

  • Minimum 5 years managing complex digital projects (web, mobile, tablet etc.) with a design agency, digital agency, advertising agency or comparable environment managing cross-functional teams as a project manager or producer.
  • Ideally at least 3 years delivering large-scale eCommerce projects.
  • A portfolio working with high profile, big name brands 
  • Highly proficient in developing project schedules using MS Project.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Office.
  • A solid understanding of retail, merchandising and eCommerce concepts.
  • Experience working with high profile, big name brands, interfacing directly with clients.
  • A solid understanding of ecommerce systems and architectures (for example, understand how an OMS, a PIM and an ecommerce platform work together).
  • Strong proficiency with task sequencing, dependencies and third party vendor responsibilities for eCommerce platform implementation projects.
  • PMP and Scrum certification a plus.
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware) experience strongly preferred.
